Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station will be hosting its monthly Parental Resource Program. Due to the overwhelming response and feedback from local parents, the program will also cover Teen Driver and School Safety issues. This is a great opportunity to learn about trending problems challenging today’s youth and how the Juvenile Intervention Team is addressing them. The program will take place on March 2, 2013, at the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station in the downstairs assembly room from 9am to 11:30am. Space is limited so please RSVP via email to Deputy Alicia Kohno at
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office protects our communities by taking dangerous criminals off the street. The best way to combat crime, however, is to prevent it from happening in the first place. To that end, the District Attorney’s Office is firmly committed to working with the community, businesses, and other agencies to prevent crime and to intervene early when wayward young people need guidance most.
Crime in the Conejo Valley communities of Hidden Hills, Agoura, Calabasas, Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, Malibu, etc. is rare compared to the rest of California. Needless to say, crime is not non-existant.
